Chapter 22
In chapter 22 it is the Grogan Children's first Christmas in Penn, and the first time they have seen snow. Marley has no problem with it and him and John are thrown into wild toboggan rides and leaping thought the several feet of snow back to there new house.
Chapter 21
In chapter 21 John apply to an organic gardening magazine on a whim and gets the job, this leading the family away from Floridan and to Pennsylvania. They are on the plane with Marley, the frogs and the crickets all going to Penn for John's new job.
Chapter 20
In chapter 20 Marley and John g oto dog beach, the only strip of beach that Florida allowed dogs to be in te water, but Marley being his usually self was known for casuing trouble.
Chapter 19
In chapter 19 John and Jenny want one more child, a little girl. They have a baby girl as their Christmas present, and John turns 50. Marley also has a gift of his own, he saves the two from being struck by lightening and Marley's fears of thunderstorms are very justified.
Chapter 18
In chapter 18 John and Jenny find out just how crazy Marley is. They find all kinds of books teaching how to handle a strong but unstable dong like him, they were told that the best thing for him would be to put him to sleep. John and Jenny decide against that, knowing what could happen, but love Marley too much to let him go.
Chapter 17
In chapter 17 John and Jenny move to a quieter neighborhood in Boca that is more family friendly. It would be a safer place for them to live with two children. They also are receiving letters form the residents of Boca as John was one to call them the beautiful people. He was somewhat hypocritical of them.
